What skills, experiences or abilities do you have that will make the greatest impact on your service to the UCMAA Board as it reaches out across the community and world to better engage UC Merced alumni? *
For new applicants, please describe a personal project you will initiate during your first year as a board member. For re-applying board members, what do you feel you’ve contributed to the UCMAA during your time on the UCMAA Board? You can reference projects or initiatives specific to board service or projects in addition to your board service. What will you do for the next three years as a board member?
Extracurricular Community Involvement *
What extracurricular community involvement have you pursued either while a UC Merced student and/or as an alumnus to give back to your community and/or alma mater? Please elaborate on your role in these endeavors and any of their professional affiliations (ex: Rotary, Kiwanis, Chamber, RCO advisor, UCMAA Chapter Leader, additional boards).
Which Alumni Relations & UCMAA Pillar would you work on as a board member? *
Would you like to focus on Advocacy, Community Impact, Lifelong Learning, Philanthropy, or Student Support? For more information on the five pillars,

Philanthropic Support *
Giving back to UC Merced is a factor in the application evaluation process, however, the dollar amount and fund designation is not taken into consideration – only participation. Alumni donors are weighted slightly more than non-donors since philanthropy is one priority of the association. All alumni can support UC Merced at
giving.ucmerced.edu and will be counted as an alumni donor.
Who recommended and/or referred you to apply for the UCMAA Board?
